By accessing or using ResumeNorth, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Use of the service
You agree to use ResumeNorth only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Misuse, including attempts to reverse engineer the service, scrape data, or abuse AI usage limits, may result in suspension or termination.
AI-generated content
Resume suggestions, ATS scores, keyword analysis, and interview questions produced by ResumeNorth are generated by AI models and are provided for guidance only. Outputs may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed before use. ResumeNorth makes no guarantee of interview invitations, job offers, or any specific employment outcome, and you remain responsible for the final content of your resume and applications.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you upload, including resumes and job descriptions. You grant ResumeNorth a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content solely to provide and improve the service for you. We do not claim ownership of your materials and do not use your resume content to train third-party foundation models.
Payment processing
Payments for ResumeNorth subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, currency conversion, and applicable taxes on our behalf. When you subscribe, your bank or credit card statement will show a charge from 'Paddle.com' or 'PADDLE.NET' rather than 'ResumeNorth' directly. This is normal and expected.
Limitation of liability
ResumeNorth is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
